The Emerging Sciences Foundation & Brilliano
Creative Consultant
My work with the Emerging Sciences Foundation included collaborating on the design and functionality of their spiritual fitness tracker app "Brilliano" as a research tool to examine effects of practices designed to encourage personal growth. My involvement ranged from conducting thorough UX/UI audits to analyzing user surveys, mapping customer journeys, and creating intuitive wireframes.

The Emerging Sciences Foundation has a great mission and profound ideas. The problem was in the communication of those ideas and the organization of the foundation to provide a clear roadmap for their community of users and prospective users. I began in 2021 as a Content Creator for ESF, helping to disseminate and modernize their information and theses about the effect of meditation and other practices seen as "spiritual" on the nature of human evolution.
After learning more about ESF and their tool to gather data as part of an ethical research mission to engage their thesis, it was clear I could help them beyond content creation in order to assist with greater organizational questions and direction, as well as align more with my strengths and interests.
Shifting into a Creative Consultant role, my work included critical organizing questions, mission focusing, productive meetings, and audits of their digital tools (including their website and main software component Brilliano).
From there I helped build a strategy for ESF based on my creation of user personas, journey mapping, and addressing issues creating obstacles in the way of clear process. We went through UX/UI changes, resource assessments, community involvement, and I teaching tools to help their small team thrive beyond my work with them.

I researched and created user personas using qualitative analysis based on available data analytics including Google, social media, Mailchimp, website, and survey responses.

I'm happy to continue to receive updates and see the difference in communication and presentation from Mike and Linda from ESF. :)
